Joanne Twan was born in Dawson City, Yukon Territory on November 17, 1956. She spent her early years in Whitehorse and moved with her family to B.C in the early 1960’s. Joanne spent several years in Quesnel before settling in Terrace in 2008. She began painting in 1998 and has been slowly developing her own style. Joanne is currently working on a book of poetry based on her life’s choices.
